Work Experience Placement Program
Our four-week Work Experience Placement Program (WEPP) gives law students direct exposure to criminal law practice.
To apply, students should:
- be in at least their second year of law studies or completing Practical Legal Training (PLT)
- have a strong interest in criminal law
- demonstrate the ability to work both independently and in teams
- possess excellent written and oral communication skills
We host students across our metropolitan and regional offices located in Brisbane, Beenleigh, Cairns, Ipswich, Maroochydore, Rockhampton, Southport, Toowoomba, and Townsville.
Law and justice graduate program
Our Office proudly supports the Queensland Government’s inaugural Law and justice graduate program a two-year, permanent role designed to launch your career in justice and legal fields.

As an Administrative officer (transcriber), you play a vital role in the justice system by producing accurate transcripts of recordings such as interviews, witness statements and court tapes.
