Victims' register

If you have experienced a violent crime, domestic and family violence (DFV) or sexual violence, or if you are concerned for your safety, you may be eligible to join a victims' register or request information on the status of an offender.

Adult offenders register

Queensland Corrective Services’s (QCS) adult offenders register is available for victims where the offender has been sentenced to a term of imprisonment. If you are registered you may receive updates about the adult offender's custodial or parole status. Find out more about the application process and what kind of information is given.

Youth offenders register

The Department of Youth Justice and Victim Support’s youth offenders register provides updates when the offender is a young person who has been sentenced to detention. You will be automatically registered and receive updates about the young person who committed the offence. If you do not wish to receive updates, contact the Department of Youth Justice and Victim Support to request to be removed from the register.  Find out more about the application process and what kind of information is given.

Mental health matters

The Mental Health Act 2016 supports victims of crime when the offender has a mental illness or intellectual disability. Victims can apply for information about alleged offenders who have a mental illness or intellectual disability.
